Stock Feature!
I've loved stock since I first learned of its existence. Since becoming a stock artist myself (on a different account), however, I appreciate good stock even more. Creating quality stock images takes time, patience, effort (yes, lots of effort!), and a sense of what will be useful. It also takes an artistic eye, and a creative mind to come up with different ideas. It costs money, too. A lot of times stock artists have to go out and buy things such as lights, accessories, props, and outfits.
The point of this journal entry is to show why the people that provide us with these resources are called "Stock
Artists"
Some of my favorites
These are some of my favorite things from the Stock Gallery that I think represent what I'm talking about

And that is just scratching the surface. Stock is a wonderful resource useful for digital and traditional artists alike.
If you decide to use stock, please give the stock artists the credit they deserve.
Read their rules and follow them. If you're not sure about something, just ask! Stockers are people too, they (well, usually) don't bite
Favs are appreciated, and will also help you to find the stock again so you can link to it when you post your work that used it. I can't believe how many deviations I see that say "I can't remember where the *model/object/background/etc.* is from. Let me know if it's yours." If you can't find it again, don't use it.
Stock is art. Stealing stock is just like stealing any other kind of art.
Stockers love to know they're appreciated! Have fun with their stock, and show them what you created. Even if you didn't use the stock, leave a comment if you enjoy it.
